A man in his fifties survived a severe heart attack due to a blockage in important arteries, after visiting the consultation clinic at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital.
The specialist in cardiology and catheter therapy at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Sami Saad, stated:

“The patient was suffering from chest pains and shortness of breath.”

He explained:

“About six years ago, he underwent a therapeutic catheterization procedure with the placement of meshes.”

Dr. Sami Saad said:

“After visiting Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, it was discovered that there was a blockage in the posterior left artery of the heart.”

He adds:

“We faced a difficult challenge in this operation due to the presence of a narrowing from which another important artery branches to the heart muscle.”

He noted that his medical team:

“were able to place two overlapping meshes on these two arteries, and the results were very good.”

After the success of the operation, the patient’s condition was monitored and he left the hospital after improving within only 24 hours.
