A medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital succeeded in performing a cesarean section on a woman in her thirties after primary infertility that lasted 14 years.
The surgery was performed successfully by gynecologist and obstetrician Dr. Hanan Abdel Rasoul.
Dr. Abdel Rasoul stated that
“The patient is 35 years old and had suffered from primary infertility for 14 years. She also suffered from high blood pressure during pregnancy, which posed an additional challenge to the surgery.”
Adding:
“The suregry was performed successfully, and the mother and child came out in good health.”
She confirmed that
“The success of the surgery is due to the efforts of the medical team, the anesthesia staff, and the nursing team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, who were keen to follow up on the patient’s condition before, during and after the surgery and to overcome all the challenges and difficulties that faced the surgery.”
She added that
“The patient had visited the doctor several times during her pregnancy, and had undergone the necessary treatment, until she was able to become pregnant, praise be to Allah.”
