Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received a woman in her 50s, complaining of kidney pain. The patient had chronic diabetes, hypertension, and hypothyroidism. After examining and diagnosing the patient by urologist Dr. Abbas Fadhil, he decided to perform surgery to fragmentize the 3 cm stone in the patient’s kidney.

Anesthesiologist Dr. Abd Al-Ameer Noori faced a great challenge due to the patient’s pre-existing conditions. He ensured that she remains in a stable state during surgery. The patient left the hospital upon making full recovery and ending the pain she had suffered for two consecutive years.
