Global Handwashing Day, or what is known as GHD, is a global campaign urging millions of individuals in the world to wash their hands with soap, according to Wikipedia.
The infection control official at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, Hussein Mohammed, gave a lecture on the importance of hand washing and its role in getting rid of viruses and combating infection.
The lecture included the distribution of ribbons to contribute to spreading awareness about this topic.
