At the end of the eighth month of her pregnancy, a woman in her thirties visited Imam al-Hujjah Hospital suffering from severe labor pains due to her pregnancy with twins.
She also suffered from placenta accreta. She had undergone a previous caesarean section.
Despite the difficulty of the situation, The medical team, consisting of obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Zahraa Al-Sultani, anesthesiologists, including Dr. Firas, assistants, and the rest of the staff, was able to provide excellent medical service to the patient, which led to the preservation of the patient’s uterus instead of performing a hysterectomy.
