A medical team at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital succeeded in performing a high-precision surgery to remove a huge cancerous tumor from the left kidney of a 52-year-old patient.
Dr. Riyad Rashid, a urologist at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital, stated:
“The tumor was very large, about 4 kilograms or more.”
He adds:
“We surgically removed the tumor through abdominal surgery.”
He pointed out that
“The patient suffered from chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes, which made the operation more difficult.”
But he confirmed that
“The operation was successful, and the patient was discharged from the hospital in good health.”
