Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital reviewed the latest scientific discoveries and research on “Alzheimer’s disease” in conjunction with World Alzheimer’s Day.
To celebrate “World Alzheimer’s Day,” the hospital organized a scientific lecture delivered by neurologist Dr. Khattab Al-Khafaji.
During his lecture, which witnessed wide participation by doctors, health personnel and those interested, Dr. Al-Khafaji touched on the latest scientific discoveries and research on the causes of the disease and its treatment, and the modern methods and technologies used in this field.
The neurologist considered World Alzheimer’s Day an opportunity to learn about the disease and raise the necessary awareness about it.
The lecture also discussed the best ways to care for Alzheimer’s patients and support them emotionally and socially.
