A specialized medical team at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital was able to remove a large tumor from the bladder of a fifty-year-old man who was complaining of the inability to pass urine.
The urology specialist at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Amir al-Araji, stated that

“The patient had been complaining of a tumor in the bladder for two years, and the size of the tumor had increased due to negligence, filling the bladder and blocking the passage of urine.”

He explains:

“This caused the bladder to become obstructed and the kidneys to expand and fail.”

He adds:

“We received the patient in a critical condition, resulting in kidney failure, high blood pressure, and diabetes, in addition to restricted urine flow and accumulation of fluids in the body.”

Dr. Al-Araji confirmed that

“After careful evaluation, the patient underwent a laparoscopic surgery that took about three hours, during which we completely removed the tumor from the bladder and drained the kidneys to remove urine from the kidneys through the skin.”

He explains:

“After the operation, the patient received treatment for a week, after which he was discharged home in good health. Praise be to Allah.”
