The emergency department at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital received a critical case of a fifty-year-old patient who was suffering from a severe heart attack, during which our specialized medical team was able to revive him again.
Dr. Ali Al-Tufaili, a cardiologist at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, said:

“The patient in his fifties came to the emergency department suffering from a severe heart attack, and while preparing the patient and giving him the necessary treatment, the heart stopped working.”

He explains:

“We quickly performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, after which the patient was urgently transferred to the catheterization department for a diagnostic catheterization.”

He adds:

“We found a total blockage of the left anterior artery descending to the heart, along with the presence of a clot that caused the blockage of this artery.”

He continued to state that

“We dissolved the clot immediately and put a mesh on that artery.”

Dr. Al-Tufaili confirmed that the operation

“was successful, and then the patient was transferred to cardiac care for follow-up, while he was fully conscious, and after 24 hours, he was discharged from the hospital and is improving.”
