Young man with “urinary hesitancy” undergoes successful surgery at IHH

The medical team specializing in urology at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital confirmed the success of an operation to remove a tumor on the prostatic urethra of a young man in his twenties.
The urology specialist at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Uday Majeed Nassar, stated that

“The patient had been suffering from chronic urinary hesitancy for more than 6 months.”

He explains:

“After conducting the necessary tests, including a diagnostic endoscopy, it was found that there was a tumor in the upper part of the prostatic urethra.”

Dr. Nassar added:

“During the operation, we completely removed the tumor under spinal anesthesia, and the patient is now in stable condition.”
