The obstetrics-gynecology team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received a case of a pregnant woman with chronic asthma.
Dr. Dunya Mehdi reported that the 37-year-old patient was pregnant with her first child after struggling with infertility for almost a decade. She received prenatal care to ensure her and her baby’s health. The Cesarean delivery was challenging due to the patient’s asthma, however, the expert surgical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital succeeded in performing the procedure without any complications, and the first-time mother and her newborn were discharged in perfect health.
