On the eve of the 10th of Muharram, the intensive care department at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received a critical case for a young woman in her 20s, suffering from epilepsy, unconsciousness, and intracranial hemorrhage. Neurosurgeon Hazim Moojid stated: “The patient’s CT scan revealed that she had severe bleeding within the intracranial vault. She was unconscious and in critical condition. An emergency intervention was performed on the dawn of Ashura. The surgery was successful and the young woman regained her consciousness and recovered at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital.”
