The obsterics-gynecology team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, led by Dr. Dunya Mehdi Al-Sulaykhi, performed a successful surgery for a woman from Wasit, with nine leiomyomas in her uterus, sizes ranging from 8.5 cm to 2 cm. The begnine growths were removed without any damage to the patient’s uterus, with the assistance of anesthesiologist Abd Al-Ameer Noori. The 40-year-old woman returned home after making a full recovery at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital.
