A medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital performed a successful surgery to treat a “herniated disc” in a young woman in her thirties, using advanced technology.
The surgery was performed on the 37-year-old patient by a specialized medical team at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital, consisting of:
Dr. Ahmed Hashim Al-Qutb – Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Specialist
Dr. Muhammad Muzahim – Orthopedic and Spine Surgery Specialist
Dr. Mohamed Yahya – Senior Resident, Orthopedic and Spine Surgery
Dr. Mukhaled Ahmed – Resident of Orthopedics and Traumatology
The hospital media stated, “The patient came to Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital suffering from a herniated lumbar disc, which caused her severe pain in the left lower limb and the inability to stand and walk.”
He adds: “The surgery was performed using a laparoscope with two small incisions not exceeding 5 mm.”
He confirmed that “the patient was able to walk and move on the same day.”
