The Emergency Department at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received a case for a man in his 20s who had parts of his scalp detached after a fallen elevator struck his head.
Neurologist Dr. Hazim Moojid stated that: “The patient was sent to the operating room where we reconnected his occipitalis muscle and stitched the wound after cleaning it. The surgery was successful and the patient left the hospital upon making a full recovery.”
