The medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital treated a patient in his 80s suffering from chronic diabetic foot ulcers and hypertension which called for immediate surgical intervention. Anesthesiologist Abd Al-Ameer Noori stated that: “We were able to keep the patient in a stable condition during surgery with the use of regional anesthetics. Orthopedic surgeon Mustafa Waleed performed the surgery which had an excellent outcome for the elderly man.”
