Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received a rare case of a triplet pregnancy for a 27-year-old woman from Karbala. Dr. Alya Al-Musawi performed Cesarean delivery for the first-time mother who underwent in-vitro fertilization at one of the Iraqi medical centers and after 12 years of infertility, she conceived two boys and one girl.
The media department stated that: “Pediatrician Dr. Hayder Adil looked after the triplets immediately after their birth.” A number of hospital employees visited the mother at the inpatient ward and presented her with a flower bouquet, wishing her and the babies a long, happy life in perfect health.
