Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received a case of a woman in her 60s complaining of severe abdominal pain. Upon diagnosis, by Dr. Emad Abd Al-Saheb Gaddoa, it was revealed that the patient needs cholecystectomy to remove her gallbladder, and because she suffers from asthma attacks the anesthesia team, led by Dr. Abd Al-Ameer Noori, had to find a solution to avoid anesthesia complications and suffocation. The anesthesia team opted for local anesthesia. This is considered one of the rarest surgeries performed at the hospital and it had a successful outcome, all thanks to team spirit.
