The Cardiology and Cardiac Catheterization Department is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of all disorders related to the heart, including atherosclerosis, which often decreases blood flow to the heart due to the accumulation of fats, cholesterol, and calcium in the arteries, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of stroke and heart attack. This department is also concerned with open-heart surgery using the latest medical technology and under the supervision of expert physicians. Our cardiologists are available around the clock, in addition to a highly-qualified staff who follow up on inpatients at the ICU and CCU.
