The intensive care unit at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received an emergency case of a young Turkish man who had fallen from a high building. Head of ICU, Dr. Hussein Al-Hajj stated that: “The 28-year-old patient was admitted to the ICU after suffering severe head and brain injuries. He received intensive treatment during his stay at the ward where he was monitored for 48 hours and all necessary medical examinations were conducted. Once the patient was in a stable condition after regaining consciousness and normal breathing, he was sent to the inpatient ward to continue his treatment. Neurosurgeon Dr. Hazim Moojid and anesthesiologist/intensivist Dr. Hussein Al-Hajj supervised the case.
