95-Year-Old Man with Tachycardia, 21 Bladder Stones, and Enlarged Prostates Receives Treatment at IHH

The medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital successfully ended the suffering of a 95-year-old man suffering from urinary retention as a result of enlarged prostate glands and multiple bladder stones. Urologist Yehya Al-Khafaji explains: “The patient suffers from tachycardia so interventional cardiologist Ali Tfaili kept the patient’s heart in a stable condition throughout the surgery. Dr. Zaid Al-Musawi administered local anesthesia for the patient, and we were able to remove the 21 bladder stones and perform a successful prostatectomy. The patient is in good health now.”
