Chairman of the Senate in Holy Karbala, Mr. Yousif Al-Majid, described the services provided by Imam Al-Hujjah Charitable Hospital as “excellent” and the prices as “moderate” compared to other non-governmental hospitals in Karbala and other provinces.
This was during his visit, on Saturday, May 27th, 2023. Mr. Al-Majid was leading a delegation from Karbala, including prominent figures from the province.
He added: “We noticed a great emphasis on humane treatment and care for visitors and patients at Imam Al-Hujjah Charitable Hospital.” He emphasized that “the cleanliness in the hospital is excellent, and the services provided are very good for every patient.”
He also added: “We inquired about the prices and costs paid by patients to the hospital and found them to be reasonable and moderate compared to other private hospitals across Iraq.”
And regarding the media attacks the hospital has been facing, The head of the Senate of Karbala advised journalists and media professionals as he adds: “My advice to all journalists is to be cautious, careful, and ensure the accuracy of the topics they present through the media.”
He also adds: “A visit to the hospital reveals the truth, and the media attack on Imam Al-Hujjah Charitable Hospital is unjustifiable.”
Al-Majid continued “His Eminence, Sayed Murtadha Al-Qazwini, is known to us for his integrity, competence, and deep faith. And this charitable hospital serves a large demographic.”
And regarding the word “Charitable” The President of the Senate of Karbala clarified that: “The term “Charitable” does not mean it is entirely free of charge. It signifies a non-profit and non-beneficial institution. Any fees collected from the patients are used to operate the hospital, pay medical and nursing staff, and cover other expenses.”
