A woman who has struggled to conceive for 14 years and had a miscarriage 8 years ago, has given birth to a healthy baby girl at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital. The obstetrics-gynecology team followed up on the pregnant patient’s condition during her third trimester and administered the necessary medicines to maintain the mother’s and fetus’ health.
Obstetrician-gynecologist Dunya Mehdi Salih stated: “The first-time mother underwent a successful C-section. She gave birth to a girl whom she named Ruqaya. They’re both in an excellent state now.” Dr. Dunya continued: “Due to the patient’s previous miscarriage, we focused our efforts to monitor her health during her pregnancy, especially in the time right before her delivery. Today, we’re overwhelmed with joy as we celebrate Ruqaya’s birth.”
