A woman in her 30s presented to Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital for an emergency cesarean delivery brought about by her health condition.

The physician in charge, obstetrician-gynecologist Enas Mudhafar Al-Jewadi explains: “The patient was expected to have a normal delivery, but clinical examination revealed that the fetus’s position in the womb had tilted, making normal vaginal delivery difficult for the mother and dangerous for the baby. Therefore, we decided to perform an emergency C-section.”

Al-Jewadi adds: “The surgery was successful and both the mother and her child are in good health now.” Dr. Enas also reported that the cause of the 13-year infertility was polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), but praise be to Allah, the first-time mother’s dream of parenthood came true at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital.
