A sixty-year-old patient was relieved of his suffering and pain caused by “prostate enlargement” and urinary retention after undergoing successful surgery at Imam Al-Hujjah Charitable Hospital.
Dr. Yahya Al-Khafaji, urologist and renal and reproductive surgeon at IHH, mentioned that “The 67-year-old patient suffered from Parkinson’s disease, high blood pressure, spinal curvature, and urinary retention due to prostate enlargement.”
He adds: “We performed a transurethral resection of the prostate (TUR-P) procedure using endoscopy, which improved his condition. It’s worth noting that the patient underwent spinal anesthesia under the supervision of our anesthesiologist, Dr. Abd Al-Amir Nouri.”
