The urology team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital succeeded in treating a 30-year-old patient who had been suffering from urinary incontinence for several years. Urologist Dr. Yehya Muhesin revealed that upon medical examination and diagnosis, the young woman was in dire need of surgical intervention.
He added: “The patient underwent a suburethral sling operation which put an end to her struggle with urinary incontinence. The surgery was performed under spinal anesthesia with the assistance of obstetrician and gynecologist Dr. Alya Al-Musawi and anesthesiologist Dr. Abd Al-Ameer Noori.”
