The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Department at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital underwent a new expansion with the addition of (6) medical beds equipped with a central control unit, monitors, suction pumps, IV therapy, and other devices from reliable international manufacturers. The cath lab has also been equipped with state-of-the-art machines for cardiac emergencies and cases that require a percutaneous coronary intervention. The department is supervised by a highly-qualified medical, nursing, engineering, and service staff with long experience in interventional catheterization and dealing with patients who need special care and 24-hour monitoring. This department, along with all other departments, is considered a vital extension of the hospital project’s main objective, which is providing top medical services to everyone.
