The surgical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital saved the life of a two and a half year old boy from Muthana city suffering from kidney stones. Urologist Yehya Al-Khafaji stated that the patient had renal occlusion which was life-threatening. The stones were removed via laparoscopy through a less than one centimeter incision. The surgery was successful and the child was discharged from the hospital after 24 hours in good health.
