Lebanese orthopedic and joint replacement surgeon Dr. Iyad Oun performed surgery for a patient in her 50s suffering from severe shoulder pain and rotator cuff tears.
Dr. Oun stated that: “Medical examination of the patient’s shoulder revealed that she had torn tendons. We decided to file the bone and place special metal screws to reconnect the tendons. The surgery succeeded in eliminating the pain.”
He added: “If the patient hadn’t undergone surgery she would’ve suffered joint dislocation, cervical disc herniation, arthritis, chronic pain, and shoulder movement impairment.”
