The medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital successfully completed a sleeve gastrectomy for a 30-year-old woman weighing 140 kilograms. General surgeon Zuhair Saleh Al-Bader explains that the young patient was suffering from obesity complications; hypertension, diabetes, and joint pain. She underwent a laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy that took approximately 30 minutes in the operating room. The patient is currently making a smooth recovery in our inpatient ward.
