A patient in his forties survived a heart attack after visiting Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, as he came from Wasit because of his confidence in the doctors and nursing staff in our hospital.
Dr. Hussein Al-Kurdi, a specialist in cardiology and catheter therapy at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, stated:
“The patient was suffering from severe chest pain and went to a hospital in Wasit, but due to the lack of medical equipment, he was not treated, according to what he had told us.”
He explains: “We conducted an ECG for the patient and it showed clear changes. As an emergency, a diagnostic catheterization was performed and we found that there was an almost complete blockage of the left descending artery, which required a therapeutic catheterization and the placement of a mesh on the artery.”
Dr. Hussein Al-Kurdi explains, “The result was excellent, and the patient underwent medical observation for 24 hours, after which he was discharged from the hospital in good health.”
He pointed out that “the patient preferred to have catheterization at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital because of his trust in the doctors and nurses.”
