The anesthesia team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, led by anesthesiologist Dr. Abd Al-Ameer Noori, succeeded in administering anesthetic agents to an elderly patient suffering from acute bronchial asthma. Dr. Noori stated: “The patient underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy under the supervision of Dr. Emad Geddoa and because she has severe asthma and other chronic diseases, she had to undergo spinal anesthesia. We were able to stabilize her condition and the surgery was successful.”
