Removal of cancerous tumor for 70-year-old patient at IHH

After treatment in several health institutions failed, a medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital was able to remove a cancerous tumor from the bladder of a seventy-year-old man using advanced techniques.
Urology specialist Dr. Yahya al-Khafaji, stated that the patient was suffering from bladder cancer and urethral stricture.
He explains:

“The patient could not be treated in other health institutions due to the inability to reach the tumor to remove it.”

He adds:

“At Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, we were able to remove the entire bladder tumor in record time through laparoscopic surgery using regional anesthesia under the supervision of Dr. Abdul Amir al-Nouri.”

He confirmed that

“After the operation was performed successfully, the patient was discharged from the hospital in good health after only 12 hours.”
