Quick Medical Intervention Saves a Man from a Sudden Cardiac Arrest

The Emergency Department at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received a man in his 50s suffering from a sudden cardiac arrest. IHH media representative stated that the patient has hypertension, diabetes, problems with obesity, and he was experiencing severe chest pain. His ECG result revealed that he had a blockage in the left anterior descending (LAD) artery.
The patient was admitted to the cath lab where he underwent a stent placement performed by interventional cardiologist Ali Al-Tfaili. The patient was discharged the following day in good health.
