The surgical team of obstetrics and gynecology at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, led by Dr. Taktum Sakhar Al-Erabi, performed a c-section on a woman in her 20s with an atrial septal defect and heart valve disease. Dr. Taktum stated that: “Despite the patient’s health condition and this is being her first pregnancy, we completed the Cesarean delivery with the assistance of anesthesiologist Dr. Osama Ali Issa, and without any complications.”
