Patient from the USA undergoes ureteroscopy at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital in Karbala

A patient from the United States of America resorted to Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital for an emergency surgery while he was in Iraq due to a stone in his right ureter.
The patient is 56 years old and had come to Iraq to visit the holy shrines, and after suffering from renal colic, he was admitted to Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital.
After conducting the necessary and accurate medical examinations by our specialized medical staff, it was found that there was a stone in the lower right ureter, which required a ureteroscopy
Urology specialist at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Haider Abd Gatte used a ureteroscope for the procedure, and general anesthesia was administered by Dr. Firas Abbas.
The medical team at our hospital declared the operation a success and the patient was in good health.
