The medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital successfully performed a complex surgery on an 67 year old woman that suffered from a kidney tumor.
The patient also suffered from diabetes, high blood pressure and has had a heart attack.
Under the supervision of Dr. Yahya Al-Khafaji (specilized in urology and nephrology) alongside Dr. Abdel-Amir Al-Nouri (anesthesiologist) the medical team successfully removed the tumor off of the kidney.
This surgery is considered to be amongst the most complicated surgeries since the tumor started from the kidney.
