Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received a rare case for a woman who struggled with infertility for 17 years. Obstetrician-gynecologist Taktum Al-Erabi stated that: “The patient suffered from primary infertility and she had a few failed attempts at in-vitro fertilization. Miraculously, she was able to conceive a pregnancy after 17 years of waiting. She gave birth to a healthy set of twins, Kian (male) and Lian (female).” Despite suffering from gestational diabetes and gestational Hypertension, the first-time mother underwent a successful Cesarean section, without any complications.
