Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital organized a scientific lecture entitled “Down Syndrome: Challenges and Achievements,” in conjunction with World Down Syndrome Day.
The lecture was given by Professor Dr. Ali Abdel-Rida Al-Saadi, a specialist in pediatrics.
The lecture touched on the definition of Down syndrome and why it happens. It also pointed out the challenges facing people with Down syndrome and their families in society.
The lecture also recalled the achievements and progress that have been achieved in the field of care and rehabilitation of people with Down Syndrome.
It also touched on the role of society and institutions in enhancing the capabilities of individuals with Down Syndrome and integrating them effectively into society.
