The surgical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital performed a successful surgery for a man in his 60s to remove a growth of abnormal tissue from his bladder. Urologist Yehya Al-Khafaji stated that this case was challenging because the patient suffers from hypertension, diabetes, and heart problems.

Al-Khafaji added: “Anesthesiologist Abd Al-Ameer Noori administered regional anesthesia for the patient and we removed the tumor via laparoscopy.” The middle-aged man was discharged from the hospital after making a full recovery.
