The catheterization laboratory at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital performs a number of cardiac surgeries with a positive outcome, under the supervision of interventional cardiologist Dr. Hussein Al-Chaabi (Lebanon).
The hospital’s media department reported that, within a short period of time, the concerned laboratory received a large number of patients who need cardiac catheterization, and all of their surgeries were successful. Majority of cases involved patients, age 70-80, with clogged arteries. They underwent angioplasty and stent placement, and the results of these procedures were impressive.
