A medical team consisting of a cardiologist, gastroenterologist, and an internist was formed to follow up on a middle-aged man’s health condition at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital. The patient presented to the emergency department with heart and digestive problems.

Our media department reports: “The hospital made sure to provide all the medical services that the patient needed upon his arrival. This multispecialty service has saved hundreds of lives.”

Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital media coordinator also explains: “The medical team that was in charge of this particular case consisted of Dr. Emad Marji (interventional cardiologist from Lebanon), Dr. Emad Geddoa (gastrointestinal surgeon), and Dr. Haider Noori (internist). The medical examination revealed that the patient suffers from acute arterial occlusion, gallbladder stones, and hemolysis. He underwent angioplasty and received two mesh implants. The surgery was successful and the medical team followed up on the patient’s health condition until he was stable and ready for discharge.”
