Our medical team here at IHH successfully relieved a sixty-year-old European patient who was suffering from kidney stone pain and complications. He had sought treatment here after his surgery had been postponed there for over 3 months.
Urologist Dr. Yahya Al-Khafaji mentioned: “The patient is dealing with chronic conditions and resides in a European country. He came to us due to kidney stones that were supposed to be removed within 4 to 6 weeks. However, due to the procedures there, the process was delayed for over three months, and he did not undergo any surgery.”
He also added: “We performed the procedure for him at our hospital, and the kidney stone was extracted in a process that took less than 10 minutes, with the assistance of our anesthesiologist Dr. Osama Issa. The surgery was successful, Praise be to Allah.”
