A specialized medical team at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital restored hope to a 56-year-old patient who was suffering from “erectile dysfunction” after performing a successful surgery using advanced technology.
The operation was performed by urology specialist Dr. Amir Al-Araji, with the assistance of Dr. Abdul Amir Nouri, anesthesiologist.
The 56-year-old patient was suffering from chronic diseases, most notably diabetes, which caused him erectile dysfunction.
The urology specialist at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Amir al-Araji, said: “The patient had been suffering from diabetes and severe erectile dysfunction for many years.”
He adds: “The ideal solution for this case was to implant the American-made stent under spinal anesthesia”.
The patient was discharged from the hospital the day after the surgery and is in perfect health, according to Dr. Al-Araji.
Erectile implants are considered one of the most effective ways to treat erectile dysfunction. They are medical devices that are implanted in the penis to help men achieve the desired erection. Imam al-Hujjah Hospital imports them from reliable international manufacturers in America and Germany.
This type of surgery requires a professional medical team, which is what Imam al-Hujjah Hospital provides to treat such cases using the latest advanced medical instruments and equipment.
