A medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital was able to treat a one-and-a-half-year-old girl complaining of a congenital deformity of the limbs.
Dr. Haider Dhaher, an orthopedic surgeon at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, explains:

“The child visited us with her family, complaining of a congenital deformity and an increase in the number of fingers on the upper and lower limbs.”

He explains:

“The little girl had 7 toes on her left hand, 7 toes on her right hand, and 6 toes on both feet.”

He adds:

“The extra digits on all limbs were removed, along with the adhesion of the middle fingers, and we used skin grafts, with the participation of Dr. Alaa Al-Sharifi, who was supervising the skin grafts.”

The orthopedic surgeon continues:

“The surgery was completed successfully and the child’s limbs returned to their normal state, praise be to God.”
