A 50-Year-Old Man Regains the Ability to Walk after a Successful Surgery at Imam Al-Hujjah Charitable Hospital.

A man in his fifties, who was injured in a car accident regained the ability to walk again after undergoing a surgical operation on his left leg, using a medical technique applied for the first time at Imam Al-Hujjah Charitable Hospital.
And the supervising physician, Orthopedician Dr. Haider Daher, said: “The fifty-year-old man who was involved in a car accident suffered a fracture in his left leg.”
He adds: The fracture in the upper part of the leg required a specialized multi-hole intramedullary nail. The surgery was performed in record time under spinal anesthesia, and the patient was able to walk (with the assistance of medical crutches) just 6 hours after the surgery. He was discharged from the hospital the next day.”
Dr. Daher confirmed that the multi-hole intramedullary nail was used for the first time at Al-Imam Al-Hujjah Charitable Hospital. The surgery was performed with the assistance of anesthesiologist Dr. Zaid Al-Mousawi.
