A 45-year-old patient survived a severe heart attack after undergoing a serious operation at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital.
The cardiologist at Imam al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Hussein Al-Chaabi, stated:

“The patient came to the emergency department at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital suffering from severe pain due to a heart attack.”

He adds:

“After completing the procedures in the emergency department, the patient was quickly transferred to the hospital’s cardiac catheterization department and a diagnostic catheterization was performed on him.”

He continued, saying:

“It was found that there were several blockages in all the coronary arteries of the heart, including the main trunk, and this required open-heart surgery.”

He adds:

“The patient’s family refused to perform open-heart surgery, so we decided to resort to a therapeutic catheterization in two stages, the first during which the right artery causing the acute angina was opened and two meshes were placed, and the second during which the left descending artery, the left posterior artery, and the main trunk were opened.”

Dr. Al-Chaabi confirmed that

“The operation was successful despite its risks.”
