As part of its ongoing commitment to medical education and professional development, Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital hosted a specialized scientific workshop aimed at strengthening the skills of its medical and nursing staff. The workshop was titled:
“Advance Wound Care Management”

The session highlighted the latest internationally recognized practices and technologies in advanced wound care, with a strong focus on the scientific principles behind selecting modern therapeutic dressings and their role in accelerating wound healing, reducing complications, and improving the overall quality of patient care.
The workshop was delivered by:

The event also featured an important hands-on component addressing the use of Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) in the management of chronic and complex wounds. This practical session was presented by Academic Nurse Abbas Baqqal, who explained the device’s mechanism of action, its clinical benefits in promoting tissue healing, reducing infection rates, and achieving improved therapeutic outcomes.
