A 60-year-old woman suffered from varicose veins pain that prevented her from walking and it could not be treated in several medical centers.
A medical team at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital in Holy Karbala was able to treat her after a successful surgery.
In detail, the specialist in thoracic and vascular surgery at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital, Dr. Ihsan Al-Amiri, stated that

“The patient visited several places, but could not be treated due to the seriousness of the operation.”

He explains:

“The patient was suffering from severe pain and swelling in the foot, and she was almost unable to walk due to diabetes, chronic diseases, and heart inefficiency.”

He adds:

“Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital received the patient and we conducted the necessary tests for her, after which we performed the surgery successfully and it took about an hour and a half.”

Dr. Al-Amiri explained:

“Through a small incision, and under local anesthesia administered by Dr. Abdel Amir Nouri, we were able to remove all the varicose veins in a cosmetic manner. The internal and external varicose veins were removed, and the patient was discharged after the procedure on the same day.”
