The medical staff at Imam Al-Hujjah Hospital performed surgery on a patient in her 20s suffering from disc herniation between the fourth and fifth lumbar vertebrae resulting in severe pressure on the spinal cord and the inability to move.
The young woman visited the hospital and clarified that she couldn’t afford the surgery due to being an orphan and going through financial difficulties, therefore the hospital administration decided to sponsor the patient with the support of generous benefactors.
Dr. Isaac Lattouf from the republic of Lebanon performed the successful surgery and stated that the patient is now in perfect health and has regained her ability to walk.
